In this class you’ll experience a basic tapping process to help you effectively clear your emotions, reduce physiological stress, regulate your nervous system, and improve your sense of peace, calm and relaxation. You’ll walk away not only feeling lighter, but also with a new tool that you can use and practice on your own when big emotional energies surface.
Tapping, more formerly known as Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), is an evidence-based process that seeks to address imbalances within a person’s energy system, as well as the energetic influence of thoughts, beliefs and emotions on the body. It involves gently tapping on acupressure points connected to your body’s energy meridians, while focusing on the cognitive thoughts, feelings and sensations that you are experiencing. A variety of studies have shown its efficacy at improving symptoms of anxiety, PTSD, addiction and pain (physical and emotional), as well as effectively reducing cortisol levels in the body after a single tapping session.
In this class you’ll learn a basic overview of EFT and how to perform the basic tapping process. You’ll then be guided through a tapping practice where you can focus on clearing the emotional energies and stress present within your body. We’ll finish the class reinforcing more positive affirmations and empowering you to intentionally select and reinforce how you would prefer to think, feel and behave moving forward.
