Guide Profile Intake Form

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ:

This form isn’t designed to be left open for hours and will send you an error message upon submission if left open too long. We don’t want you to lose your work so, we HIGHLY SUGGEST you write your content here and then transfer it to the form when ready.

Hello Inaura Guides! As we get closer to our soft launch we find ourselves getting more and more excited - but there is still work to do!

The form below is your Guide Profile Intake Form. We understand you’ve filled out a couple forms already to get to this point but the purpose of this one is to populate your public facing profile on inaura.com.

Please read through the following questions carefully and write your responses exactly how you want them displayed on your profile.

Before they officially go live, our team will be reviewing each profile. Please note that our team reserves the right to change any content as we see fit and trust that we will only make changes when necessary and in the best interest of you and Inaura.

Don’t worry - the profile won’t be permanent. We’re happy to work with you on any requested changes.

Reminder: Fill out all sections of the form as you’d like them to be displayed publicly.

To help keep the profiles on Inaura uniform, we are asking that you follow a similar format as shown below to write your bio;

  • Written in first person please
  • General overview - years of experience, areas of focus, purpose of your practice
  • What’s your passion / what’s your ethos?
  • What certifications do you have?
  • Short address to the reader

Some areas on the site will require us to display your bio in a smaller visible area (less characters). We suggest you make this short bio as powerful as possible and share with the reader what you’d like them to know the most about you and your work.

Think of this as being displayed as a thumbnail on the site. Very short - highest level overview of you and your work.

We will allow for up to 3 testimonials to be displayed on your profile. This is not a required section. (max of 500 characters each)

This image is displayed alongside your testimonial. If no image is added, we will use an image from our library

We ask this as some seekers may be looking to work with someone who closely shares their own life experience.

This is not a certification. Licensing means you have taken a licensing exam to be a therapist, counselor, bodyworker, etc.

We realize your work is likely to cross many areas of focus. For organizational purposes, it will be very helpful if you can choose the primary pathway that most resonates with you and your practice, and up to two additional pathways that your work may overlap with.

Foundations
The basics of a healthy lifestyle – would include nutrition, movement, stress reduction, pain management, structural (physical) health, and all aspects of living in a way that fosters mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

Mental
This is where most traditional psychology would land – an exploration of the mind. Focus is on mindset, thoughts, beliefs, stories, and building self-awareness of one’s own triggers, patterns, and behaviors. Topics such as mindfulness, focus, motivation, and inspiration would also be covered here.

Neuro
Pertains to the physical brain, neurotransmitters, brain waves, and the nervous system as it pertains to one’s mental and emotional well-being. Would include topics such as polyvagal theory, autonomic nervous system, neurofeedback, nervous system regulation, certain aspects of trauma, and heart-brain coherence.

Somatic
A focus on body-mind connection, awareness of emotions as physical sensations, embodiment practices, body-based trauma therapies, and mindful movement practices. Explores the relationship between our physical and subtle body structures with our thoughts and actions.

Energetic
Includes practices which work primarily with the human biofield, subtle energies, electromagnetic frequencies, and/or life force (prana). Would include practices such as Qigong, Acupuncture, Reiki, and Pranic Healing.

Spiritual
Here you find awakening practices, all levels and forms of meditation, contemplative prayer, connection to the divine, religion, self-realization, spiritual teachers and lineages, ceremony, ritual, myth, legend, and explorations into death and dying.
