Jacob Bauder
Integrative Physical Therapist
I have 5+ years as a physical therapist. My areas of focus are chronic pain, neuroscience, and orthopedics.
The purpose of my current practice is to assist clients with chronic pain by transforming how one relates to their symptoms. My passion is the optimization of health. The ethos of my techniques is the belief that pain symptoms can be addressed at all levels of one’s being.
Certifications include the following:
Doctor of Physical Therapy (Duquesne University)
Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (ABPTS)
Qigong Associate Instructor (Templestyle Integrative Arts)
Myofascial Decompression (UCSF)
Dry Needling (Kinetacore, Myopain)
Orthopedic Manual Therapy (MAPS)
250 Hour Yoga Instructor (Asheville Community Yoga)
You can become more free with the knowledge of how pain manifests, relating this to your individual experience, and applying unique tools for relief and integration. Alongside current neuroscience research, my practice is deeply informed by yogic teachings that I’ve had the privilege of encountering on my personal journey.
