These one on one classes combine mindful movement practices and movement analyses to address the body-mind connection. This workshop can help you become aware of your movement habits and also offer new ways to move and think with your fascia system. This practice can address chronic pain, orient your attention to your well being and create new pathways for sensing the bodymind.Connect with Me
I have attended several workshops with Kevin O'Connor, and always find his work to add new layers of consideration to my regular practice with movement and embodiment. Something I appreciate about his workshops is the sense of experimentation and critical research that he cultivates in the room where new relations in my bodymind become alive integrated in my practice. It's an extremely fertile and generative mode to be in, and often has brought me back to a the place of wonder at the experience of living in the world, in movement and in relationship to others.
In both of the workshops where Kevin taught, he introduced me to a new way of expanding my consciousness - not only in a physical way but also an intellectual, instinctive & imaginative way. It's hard to put it in words, but his openness and generosity allowed new worlds to appear for me and i'm sure many others - in both my mind's eye,
imagination, and the space.
